Father and son have traveled to Mainz from the small town of Sprockhövel, located within the state of North-Rhine Westphalia. They regularly watch games of the Hamburger SV.

Olli lives in Mainz, but is coming to watch the game along witha couple of friends from Hamburg. The hat was crocheted for him by his mother.

Die Stimmung der Anhänger von Mainz 05 ist an diesem regnerischen Mai Nachmittag entspannt und voller Vorfreude. Die zahlreichen HSV Fans wirken da schon deutlich angespannter. Für sie geht es gegen den Abstieg, für die Mainzer um das Erreichen der Europa League Quali. Am Ende gewinnt 05, aber auch die Gäste dürfen sich als Sieger fühlen, denn trotz der Niederlage darf ihre Mannschaft in die Relegation gegen Fürth.

The atmosphere in the stadium on this rainy spring day is relaxed and the home side is full of anticipation of playing in the Europa League play-offs next season. The away side however seems more tense, as the Hamburger SV is currently fighting for staying in the Bundesliga. Mainz 05 ends up winning the match, though the away side can still be relieved, as they qualified for the relegation match in spite of losing today.
