Thomas, Betzenberg

Stefan Kuntz hat als Spieler Thomas Liebe zum 1.FC Kaiserslautern erweckt. Weil Thomas aber in Berlin wohnt, ist er heute erst zum zweiten Mal auf dem Betzenberg. Das erste Mal war vor zehn Jahren gegen den FC St.Pauli, so wie heute.
Thomas was interested in the 1. FC Kaiserslautern by the team’s former star player, Stefan Kuntz. Due to living in Berlin however, it’s only Thomas’s second time at the „Betzenberg“ today, his first time also being at a game against the FC St. Pauli, ten years ago.

Tony, Betzenberg

Tony war früher Mitglied in der Boxsparte des FCK. Sein erstes Fußballspiel auf dem Betzenberg hat er mit drei Jahren zusammen mit der Uroma gesehen.
Tony is a former member of the FCK’s boxing team. He was only three years old when watching his first football game in the Betzenberg stadium with his great grandmother.

Christopher, Betzenberg

Christopher hat mit dem 1.FC Kaiserslautern zwei Meisterschaften, zwei Pokalsiege und drei Abstiege erlebt. Er würde auch mit in die Dritte Liga gehen.
Christopher has witnessed two championship titles, two domestic cup wins and three relegations in his time as a Kaiserslautern supporter. He’d stay true to the team even if they happened to move down to third division.

Elke und Werner, Betzenberg

Elke und Werner haben mit einer Ausnahme alle Heimspiele seit 1991 gesehen. Werner findet, dass die Stimmung vor dem Ausbau besser war. Es war enger und lauter, es gab weniger Gelegenheitsfans und VIPs.
Elke and Werner have watched all of the team’s home games except one since 1991. Werner thinks that the atmosphere in the stadium was generally better before its latest renovation in 2005, since there was less space, as well as less VIPs and casual fans, resulting in a louder atmosphere.
