Manfred, Stadion am Zoo

Manfred trägt ein Hemd, das ihm seine Frau extra fürs Stadion genäht hat.
Sein erstes Alemannia Spiel hat er 1969 mit drei Jahren gesehen. Manfred fährt gerne zu Auswärtsspielen, vor allem Freitag abends oder zu Spielen in der Nähe von Aachen; z.B. zu den Pokalspielen letzte Saison.
Manfred is wearing a shirt sewn for him by his wife to wear to the stadium. His first visit to an Alemannia game dates all the way back to 1969. Manfred was just three years old at the time. He likes to visit away games not too far away from his home town of Aachen, particularly on friday nights. Last season for example, he was able to attend many of the teams games in the local cup competition.

Mehr als 3.000 Zuschauer haben sich an diesem schönen Sommerabend in Wuppertal zum Spiel der Regionalliga West eingefunden, knapp 1.000 davon aus Aachen. Das Atmosphäre ist entspannt, die Partie plätschert vor sich hin. Auch die Pyros der Wuppertaler Anhänger können kein Feuer ins Spiel bringen. Erst in der Schlussphase nimmt das Traditionsduell mit der Aachener Schlussoffensive Fahrt auf, und der Gästeblock macht richtig Druck. Da der Alemannia Führungstreffer wegen angeblichem Abseits zurückgepfiffen wird, bleibt es jedoch beim 0-0.
More than 3000 visitors are in attendance for tonights fourth division match in Wuppertal under summery weather conditions, with roughly 1000 coming from Aachen to support the away team. The atmosphere is as relaxed as the game is eventless with the Wuppertal fans failing in their attempt to light a spark in their team using pyrotechnics. Toward the end however, the game takes up some heat as Aachen starts playing more aggressively amid loud support from the stands. When they finally do manage to score, the goal gets taken back due to an alleged offside position, causing the game to end in a 0-0 draw.

Philipp ist mit zwei Freunden unterwegs. Sie hatten eigentlich selber Training, das ist aber ausgefallen. Deswegen kommen sie jetzt auf den letzten Drücker.
Philipp comes to watch the game with two of his friends. They were supposed to go to soccer practice, but it was canceled at short notice, which is why they decided to go see the game instead.

Tanja ist Mitglied im Fanclub »Die Falken« benannt nach Falk ihrem Präsidenten.
»Die Falken« gibt es schon seit über 20 Jahren. Damals spielte die Mannschaft noch in der Zweiten Liga.
Tanja is member of the fan club „Die Falken“, which is named after it’s president, Falk. The fanclub has existed for over 20 years now, it was founded when the team still played in second division.

Celine und Julia sind Tanjas Töchter. Sara ist »eine Freundin aber wie eine Schwester«.
Tanjas Mann ist zwar heute auch mit im Stadion, aber das ist eine Ausnahme. Er ist eigentlich nicht wirklich an Fußball interessiert.
Tanja’s husband is in the stadium too today, which is a rare exception however. He usually isn’t really interested in football.
Celine and Julia are Tanja’s daughters. Sara is „a friend but like a sister“.
