Manfred trägt ein Hemd, das ihm seine Frau extra fürs Stadion genäht hat.
Sein erstes Alemannia Spiel hat er 1969 mit drei Jahren gesehen. Manfred fährt gerne zu Auswärtsspielen, vor allem Freitag abends oder zu Spielen in der Nähe von Aachen; z.B. zu den Pokalspielen letzte Saison.
Manfred is wearing a shirt sewn for him by his wife to wear to the stadium. His first visit to an Alemannia game dates all the way back to 1969. Manfred was just three years old at the time. He likes to visit away games not too far away from his home town of Aachen, particularly on friday nights. Last season for example, he was able to attend many of the teams games in the local cup competition.
Andrè und Anja tragen seit vier Jahren Kutte. Bevor sie ihre Kutten genäht haben, wurden erst einmal ein Jahr lang Sticker gesucht und gesammelt. Die Pinsammlung besteht schon länger. Auf seinem Handy zeigt André mir verschiedene sehr ausgefeilte und immer komplett selbst genähte Karnevalskostüme der beiden. Er sagt, sie seien »immer schon extrovertiert« und »wenn wir was machen, dann richtig«.
Andrè and Anja have been wearing traditional vests for four years. Prior to having stitched their vests, they collected stickers to stitch on them for roughly a year. The pins on Andrès hat however have been around for longer. He shows me photos of several very polished self made carnival costumes of the two of them on his phone and tells me how they had „always been extroverted“ and „when we do things, we do them properly“.

Heike hat den Schal selbst online in Auftrag gegeben, angelehnt an das Trikot aus der Saison 17/18. Der Fuchs, genannt Füchsle, ist das Maskottchen des SC Freiburg. Dazu trägt sie ein Trikot und die Hose ihres Karnevalsvereins.
Inspired by Freiburg’s away jersey from the 2017/18 season, Heike used an online „customize your scarf“-service to create the scarf she’s wearing in the picture. The fox depicted on the scarf is simultaneously the SC Freiburg’s mascot and is called „Füchsle“. Additionally, she’s wearing a Freiburg jersey, as well as a pair of pants associated with her carnival society.
