Tanja’s husband is in the stadium too today, which is a rare exception however. He usually isn’t really interested in football.
Celine and Julia are Tanja’s daughters. Sara is „a friend but like a sister“.

Frank is a member of „Die Falken“ as well. He’s been visiting the matches for 35 years now, having seen all of the team’s ups and especially its downs. „We know the pains“, he says.

Bodo too watched his first match in the „Stadion am Zoo“ in the early 70s. He is meeting up with his son soon. Bodo has lived abroad for a long time, in Asia amongst other places, but never lost track of his favorite club. Wherever he was, he always had people send him articles and videos about the WSV.

When Oliver first started to visit the WSV’s games in the early 70’s, there was a hole in the fence surrounding the stadium, which he and other kids used to get inside. The security guards simply looked the other way; unthinkable from today’s point of view. He likes the recent developments. The chance for a new beginning after bankrupcy was well used, as regards both the personnel and finances. The best thing however, is that the fused name „Wuppertaler SV Borussia“ is history, and the club is named „Wuppertaler SV“ again like back in the day.
His best experience as a WSV fan was watching the round of 16 game in the „DFB-Pokal“ of 2008 against Bayern Munich, which took place in the sold out „Veltins Arena“ in Gelsenkirchen. The underdog was able to score two equalizers, making it 2-2 at half time. The final score was 2-5.

Lissi has been watching the games regularly for about 9 months now. She used to visit the games along with her grandfather, who is in the stadium too today – but on a seat in a different stand.

Thomas was six years old when watching his first game in the „Zoostadion“. He played for one of the WSV’s youth teams when he was young, until an injury ended his career. Thomas is wearing a retro jersey from the 70s. He likes watching the WSV’s games and comes often. Hannelore likes to come along, Sebastian has to be persuaded. The three of them are arranged to watch the game with Thomas’s two brothers.
