Tobias und Angela unterstützen den KFC schon seit 30 und mehr Jahren — zu Hause und auswärts, in der Bundesliga und in der sechsten Liga.
Tobias and Angela have been supporting KFC Uerdingen for 30 years plus – home and away, in the „Bundesliga“, as well as in the sixth division.

Markus trägt ein Trikot aus der Mitte der 90er Jahre. Er geht seit 1978 regelmäßig in die Grotenburg — früher mit seinem Vater, jetzt allein.
Markus is wearing a jersey from the mid 90’s. He goes to the stadium regularly since 1978 – he used to go with his father, now he goes alone.

 

Auch Michael ist schon »ewig« dabei.
Michael too has been watching games since „forever“.

Die beiden wohnen in Mannheim und machen gerade ein Köln Wochenende. Von da haben sie den kurzen Weg nach Krefeld gemacht — wegen des Grotifanten. Sandra ist eigentlich Anhängerin von Waldhof Mannheim und Matthias von Eintracht Frankfurt.
The couple lives in Mannheim and are currently spending their weekend in Cologne, from where they have made a short trip to Krefeld – because of the teams mascot, the „Grotifant“.  Sandra actually is a Waldhof Mannheim supporter, Matthias supports Eintracht Frankfurt.

Sebastian geht seit vier Jahren regelmässig zu den Spielen von 05. Er und sein Freund erzählen von einem Zwiespalt in der Fanszene, der sich an unterschiedlichen Auffassungen zum Support entzündet hat. Die Aufstiegssaison in der fünften Liga (vor zwei Jahren) war »Bombe«. Es war toll mit den anderen KFC Anhängern über die Dörfer zu ziehen und überall grandiose Heimspielatmosphäre zu haben.
Sebastian has been watching all of Uerdingen’s games for the past four years. He and his friends are talking about the team’s fanbase being split in two halves that have different views on how to support their team. The season in which Uerdingen made the jump from fifth to fourth division (two years ago) was „sick“. It was great to travel to different towns along with other supporters and have a great atmosphere virtually everywhere.
