Seine Heimat ist »De Geusselt«, das auf drei Seiten in Bürogebäude eingebettet ist, und von außen nur an seinen Flutlichtmasten als Stadion zu erkennen ist. Gut viertausend Zuschauer sind an diesem warmen Spätseptemberabend gekommen um das Mittelfeldduell gegen den FC Emmen zu sehen. Am Besten gefüllt ist die Fankurve, die »Angel Side«, benannt nach dem Erzengel Gabriel, der sowohl im Wappen der Stadt Maastricht als auch dem des MVV zu sehen ist. An den Imbissbuden gibt es landestypische Spezialitäten wie Frikandeln und Fritten. Das Spiel endet leistungsgerecht 0-0.
MVV Maastricht, a traditional Dutch football club currently playing within the domestic second division called „Eerste Divisie“, calls the stadium »De Geusselt« its home. Connected to an office building on three sides, this stadium can barely be recognised as such from the outside, if it wasn’t for its floodlights. About 4,000 visitors have come to watch this matchup between the MVV and the FC Emmen on this September night. The fan stand called „Angel Side“ is by far the most filled stand in the stadium, being named after archangel Gabriel, who is also embedded in the teams logo as well as on the city of Maastricht’s coat of arms. There are several food stands, where mainly Dutch specialities such as „Frikandel“ meat rolls and fries are being sold. The evenly matched game ends with a score of 0-0.

Alessandro trägt in jeder Saison eine neue Kopfbedeckung bei Fortuna Spielen. Letzte Saison war es ein Rot-Weiß gestreifter Zylinder.
Die aktuelle Mütze hat er diesen Sommer aus St. Peter Ording von der Kite WM mitgebracht. Beim 1-0 gegen Cottbus hat sie direkt Glück gebracht. Beim zweiten Spiel in Köln hat Alessandro dann hitzebedingt auf sie verzichtet, und prompt hat Fortuna nicht gewonnen. Deswegen ist sie heute trotz der sommerlichen Temperaturen wieder am Start. Das Spiel gegen 1860 geht dann trotzdem unglücklich 1-2 verloren.
Alessandro always wears a new hat every season. Last season for instance, he wore a striped red and white cylinder.
He bought his current hat at the kitesurfing world championship in St. Peter Ording. For the first game of the season against Cottbus, his hat brought him luck as his team managed to win 1-0. Due to the weather being sunny that day, he didn’t wear his hat to the next game against Cologne, which ended up being a draw. Hence the hat is back today, despite the warm temperature. However, Fortuna Düsseldorf still ends up unluckily losing the game against 1860 Munich 1-2.

Das Dach war offen, und so war die Atmosphäre im Stadion stimmungsvoll. Allerdings wurde Tobias Levels von Fortuna nach seinem Fehler vor dem 1 – 2 von einem Großteil der eigenen Fans gnadenlos ausgepfiffen. Ein sehr spezieller Support.
The stadium’s roof was open and the atmosphere was great as Fortuna Düsseldorf took on 1860 Munich at home. However, defender Tobias Levels was mercilessly booed at by the majority of his own supporters for making a mistake that lead to the home team conceding a goal, which also ended up being the matchwinner for Munich as they end up winning 2-1.
